Year 6 have had an excellent first day. Lots of fun doing a range of activities, even if it did rain ALL DAY!! Really great examples of all of our school values, lots of laughs and huge amounts of fun. A delicious dinner of roast chicken and some team games to finish off the day. All settled in bed and looking forward to another day of activities tomorrow.
Thursday 23rd May
Good morning from Whitemoor Lakes. We are all up and full after a lovely cooked breakfast. Everyone is keen to get going with our first activity. We've got a packed day ahead of us with lots of high adrenalin adventures. The good news is that the rain has stopped and we have seen a glimpse of the sun. More photos to follow later!
First activity of the day done for each group. The weather is holding up. Photos will be added as quickly as possible once we can transfer them from devices.
What an exhausting but fantastic day! each group has done four activities - we've had a mix of zipwire, climbing, gladiator course, compass course, sailing, canoeing and more. Burger and wedges for lunch, pasta and meatballs for dinner a few treats and souvenirs from the shop too. Lots of smiles, laughs and fun all day and some fantastic demonstrations of respect, courage, perseverance, friendship, encouragement and teamwork. Very proud but tired staff who are hoping that the children feel as exhausted as we do and go to sleep early tonight!
Friday 24th May
Good morning from Whitemoor Lakes. We enjoyed an evening of team games, pool, table tennis, table football and chatting before a good night's sleep. Another delicious breakfast this morning. We are all packed and bags stored while we enjoy our last two activities before lunch. We have had a fantastic time. We will update our ETA once we have started our journey.
