We have a vacancy for a class teacher from September to join our current team of skilled and enthusiastic teachers.
We are a happy, friendly school in a vibrant village community. Our aim is to provide a supportive and nurturing learning environment for everyone. We know that having the right staff, and looking after them, enables us to achieve this and we wish to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working class teacher who will put our children first.
 
The successful applicant will have high expectations for themselves and for all the children that they teach. He/she will know how to inspire others to achieve, and show commitment to self-improvement with a reflective and determined attitude. A track record of good team work and a supportive, collaborative attitude is essential, as we believe that teaching is a team sport.  At this stage we welcome applicants seeking a role in any phase of primary education from Early Years to KS2.
 
Greens Norton is a village primary school with brilliant children and a friendly committed staff. We are small enough that every child is known to every adult in school, but large enough to provide a variety of opportunities for our children to flourish. Extensive grounds support our evolving curriculum and staff are encouraged to share and follow new ideas to inspire and nurture a love of learning in our children. As a church school and a member of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust, Christian values are embedded in all aspects of school life.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and safer recruitment practice, and expect all of our staff to share this commitment.  An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants and references will be requested for short-listed applicants prior to interview and will form part of the interview process.  The successful applicant will also be expected to undertake a medical questionnaire.
