Text Messaging Service
The Student Services division of Northamptonshire County Council offers schools a text messaging service to parents. Greens Norton CE School currently operates this service.
It is an effective method of communication and enables the school to advise the participating parents of unexpected events such as closure due to snow, and remind them of planned events for example training days.
Parents who choose to be included in this scheme give permission for their mobile phone number to be held on the database run by the Student Services division of NCC.
