The Curriculum
History
History fires pupil’s curiosity about the past in Britain and the wider world. Within our curriculum it plays an important role in helping pupils:
- Develop a framework of chronology
- Interpret past events and attitudes
- Find evidence, weigh it up and reach their own conclusions
- Undertake research, sift through evidence and argue their point
